Hi everyone
has anyone had any experience with a Bendix carburetor on an OC-3?
The tractor that I just bought has a Bendix carburetor on it. I have not started the tractor yet so I don't know how well it works, but it is shorter in length and does not seem to fit right. I have searched the forum a reference to a Bendix carburetor and did not get any hits. I have 2 of the TSX 403 carbs to rebuild but I am not sure I need to.

Never seen one. I would just rebuild one of the 403's. Napa can get you the kit. I can get you the napa number.

Does the NAPA kit include the floats? If not does NAPA sell the floats?

If not a float will not be hard to find. I would like to know more about your Bexdix carburetor.

I took the carb off to get more information and found Zenith on the back side,my guess is that this is the same Zenith carb that a lot of people use.Where do I find a serial #?

I have a OC3 w/ 3WI loader(in parts) with a TSX403 and I purchased a OC3 crawler  a month ago and notice it also has a bendix carb. I have never seen one in any of the pictures of oc3s or hgs I was thinking it was just something a farmer had around and put it on. I have 2 NOS TSX 455 carbs I hope work in its place. let me know if you find anything else out about the bendix carbs thanks Jeremy

I just checked my father's OC-3. It too has a bendix carburetor. We had assumed it was an add-on when the original broke. Perhaps a bunch of OC-3s were made with this same carburetor. It seems to work just fine.
