Found a gentleman who has a collection of cletrac parts.  The parts are from a dealer's remnants who used to be in Spokane, Wa area. He does not know much about what models they are for but is looking at casting numbers for me to see if he can find anything for my OC-4. Also has an OC-6 diesel he would like to see restored, would like it myself but think wife would kill me if I brought another "toy" home.     http://spokane.craigslist.org/grd/1386579178.html

Never succumb to such thoughts! If you really want a tractor there is always a way to get it past the wife.... perhaps, after you get it home and unloaded, tell her it's her tractor.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. I'm in Coeur d Alene.   What sort of other parts does he have?
You cannot break it if it's broken,  but....
You can fix it so it cannot be fixed!!

He said he had some rollers, sprockets, idlers, and other parts we didn't discuss.

If he has parts he wants to sell, get him to put an ad in the classified section.  Lots of us would like to know what he has!!
