i would like some help on figuring out why my herc 4 cyl will quit running after 10 min run time and not restart until@20 min elapses it will then start like nothing is wrong? thanks

My help needs you to help yourself.
First find why it stops.  Is it short of fuel or short of spark when it stops?
When you have done that you will possibly have already found the fault before posting back here to tell us.

do you have a magneto ign. ? if so ,my best guess without any other information that you have a bad coil . also be sure your fuel lines,tank, and carb dont have any trash in them .

Sounds to me like you're running out of fuel - line, filter or shutoff valve partially clogged, so you are not getting enough flow to keep up with the carburetor's demands.
