:D i have a clectrac hg with a hercules ixb3 would like to change it toaixb5 would like to know if the blocks are the same

I can't tell you if they are the same or not, but why do you want to change?

They are not the same blocks. Neither are some other parts. Cletrac/Oliver never used the IX_5 blocks.
