What year???

My HG 42, with the number behind magneto: 115 53 746. The number on left side of block: 1XB3. It is my understanding that the 1XB3 engine was only manufactured in 1950 and 1951. Is this correct? And if so, it doesn't correspond with the number that I previously stated, which is behind the magneto.
   No tags remain on the crawler itself. I really need to get an accurate idea of what year this crawler is, so I can buy the correct manual, determine the correct paint (it appears to have been green with yellow details), and so on. I would really appreciate if someone knowledgeable on this would step up and give me some solid information.

Are you sure it is an HG and not an early OC-3. Now the first OC-3 tractors were shipped with HG manuals. Can you send me pictures of the final drives? Late HG tractors have different final drives. Yes I would say you have a green tractor instead of the early orange model.
