HG exhaust stack

What is used for the exhaust system on an HG and specifically how does it attach to the manifold. Currently mine has a piece of exhaust pipe beat down onto the manifold to try to hold it on and it leaks down onto the carb.

And what makes you think there is a better way?

Actually that is about it--you may have the wrong size pipe.  They came standard with a straight pipe and there was a muffler offered as an option.
