Torque Sequence for IXK3

I need to replace a head gasket in my HG and need the sequence to torque the head bolts. The owners manual suggests 35 ft lbs but does not give the sequence.

I can look but remember the old rule start in the middle and work out each way. Also make sure all the hole in the block have a tap run through them as they go directly to water. Put a little teflon on the tread at the bottom to help seal. Put a drop of oil under the head of each head bolt. Torque in three steps even though the torques is only 35 pounds/ Retorque when engine is at operating temperature. Make sure the head is flat. If you need any new head bolts give me aU2U as I used some for a Continental that worked great.

From the Manual:

"When replacing the cylinder head, the center row of screws should be drawn down firmly, starting from the center and working to the front and back alternately.
Next work from the center of the outside rows and work alternately across the head and toward the front and rear.  When installing head, this procedure should be repeated several times, starting with just tight and working up to proper tension.  Re-tighten cylinder head bolts after the first 50 hours operation, recheck after 200 hours operation.

My book shows torque to be 45 #.
