What is a 52 oc-3 sitting in a barn for 20 years worth?

sorry for the lack of information. OC-3 68 3 pt, pto, wide tracks, oil looks good, mags in the seat(is that the problem?), sheet metal good, front mount pump. What else do you need? Let me know, I don't want  anyone to get the short end here.

Are you selling or buying this?  If I were a buyer I would want to know the following to determine what price it is worth:

- Is the engine stuck, running, visibly ok?
- Are there any cracks in the frame?
- What is the condition of the tracks, spockets, and idler wheels?
- Is all the sheet metal in place and look ok?
- Are all components in place and included (is it missing anything)?
- Is the front mount pump connected to anything (a dozer blade, loader, etc)?

I'm buying. The chain, sprockets. idlers, etc. seem to be fine. Sheet metal is fine but the grill is gone. Thanks KP

I paid $1800 for my 1945 HG42 this is in the picture to the left of this note (in that condition).  It came with a complete Ware loader in good condition, extra tracks, extra frame, idlers, sprockets, and track frames.  It runs good, but I needed to swap the frame with the extra one (that was in better condition).  I had a 3 hour drive to pick it up and had to rent a truck and trailer for around $250 to get it.  Since I bought it, I have paid about $600 for various parts needed (used air cleaner asssembly, used manifold, throttle lever, steering grips, misc springs, generator, new front pulley and hyd pump linkage).  I'm still going through it and painting parts as I go along.  If it were running and complete with a loader or dozer to use with it, it would be worth around $3000 to me.  But, since I needed to do this work and buy some parts, I thought the $2000 or so price was okay.  It all depends on what you want to use it for and how much work you want to do on it.  I would break it down as follows (in my mind):  $100-1250 for the crawler alone with no extra parts, not running, and as complete as possible, $1250-2500 complete & running without any implements, $2500-4000 running perfect, complete, and with a dozer or loader in great shape.  Hope this helps you better with your decision.

Thanks for the information. It's getting to be spring here so I'm going to try to get it bought before we all get in the field.
