I just recently purchaced a ware loader for my HG.  Does anyone know what kind of hydraulic pump was used on this loader?  Where can I get seals and o rings?;)

Moving over to HG.....

John S. should know this hyrdaulic question.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. The ware loaders usually used HYDRECO pumps, most seals are hard to find for these pumps. Do you have a picture or numbers of the pump as they used several different models.

Hydreco reorganized a few years ago > My group was working with them on a piston pump, but things did not go well and they are no more. Normally if the front seal of a gear pump leaks, one can start thinking of excess internal pump wear and it might be best to get a new pump. Also if you do not have a return line filter, now is the time to think about that. Send me a U2U with a phone number and I will talk to you. I may even have a pump. John

John, what return line filter would you recommend adding to a Ware loader pump setup?  Would you use an inline filter?  What size and type?
