Serial #s Need Help

I think I have OC3, but am unable to locate the serial numbers on the machine.  The only numbers I have been able to locate are the ones on the engine (4 cyl Hercules gas).  Anyones help is greatly appreciated.

If you have a OC-3 the serial# plate sould be on the bellhouse rightside (looks like a sheild) But it might ben missing on your machine. if the front wheel is two disks that are bolted together it mostely is an OC-3 Made betwwen -51-59

the HG had the plate on the main frame just were you hold the feet ,and front wheel were made of cast iron with four holes in. made betwwen -39-50

Look in the photo album on this site there can you se the diffrence between the HG/OC-3.

Graig, do you believe your crawler has the original engine? If you think it does try and get the model and serial number off the engine, I have a list that I can go by to get close to what year your crawler might be. Ray
