Ok guys. I dont know whats I did or whats going on but this thing is filling the rear 2 cyls with antifreeze. I am done putting money into this thing. I have just put $940 alone into the engine. anyone that would like to make me an offer on this tractor is welcome too. I realise that I will not get out of it what i have into it. I would just like to recoup some of my money so I can buy something else. If interested please call me at 716-467-2403. My name is James

ok next there are 4 little copper washers .. I am not sure of where they are supposed to go. I have the old ones which have yellow paint on them. So I assume they are on the OUTSIDE of the engine, Im just not sure where they go. I should have paid more attention when I took it apart .

Hello all, I know I havent posted in some time, but I finally got back to working on my oc46. I sent the engine ( which is a sleeveless G130H herc engine) to have it bored and sleeved. It had a bad crack in the center cyinder. I ordered new bearings and rings and I am now set to reassemble it. What I need to now are the torque specs for the rod and main bearings  and the head gaskets torque specs. Thanks guys I will post pics soon.

I have a friend with a BG that someone put a 6 cyl turbo charged iveco engine. It has some sort of adaptor plate  , but it looks very well done. It has WAY to much hp for the tractor and the tractor doesnt have enough traction to tame it down some. It has a hiel blade on it and with that iveco engine it will push a blade full of dirt at idle. Myself Im a cat man and a bit of a purist.. if it didnt come with it.. it doesnt belong there. But this isnt so bad I guess. To bad a 4bt cummins wouldnt fit into my oc46 otherwise it would have one .

Yes it does not have sleeves. I took the head off and the pan off. The pan had some water and sludge in the bottom.  I vacumed any debris out of the cylinders  which appeared to be fairly clean. then I used a bead style cylinder hone to clean up any rust that was in the way. then I soaked the cylinders with PB blaster for 3 days which worked rather well. I was able to turn it over with some effort.I did  however see a dark line running down the side of cylinder 2, which I attributed to a possible stain from having all the gunk in there. Well Im thinking that stain was a crack. So like the hurried idiot I can be .. I just ignored it and put the head back on and ....what a shocker it leaks antifreeze into the oil and wont run. it tries to start but it wont. I have found 2 more gas engines and one diesel that I am going to look at tomorrow. I dont feel like going through the hassle of having this engine bored and sleeved if that can even be done. If one of these gas engines is a 130X I am going to buy it and the diesel. From what I understand here is that the diesel is more desirable than the gas engines? What is involved in swapping out a gas engine for the diesel?

The engine is a 130H. I bought a head gasket from jerry biro and installed it already.

Well I guess i have bigger problems than a cracked  reverser case. The engine has such lw compression that it doesnt even want to run. And to add to that....its putting antifreeze into the oil as if there is a crack in the block or in a cylinder.. I am positive I can fix the reverser crack, but if theres a crack in the block or in a cylinder I think that problem is beyond me. Can anyone help me with some ideas? Does anyone have one of these engines around that I could buy that can be rebuilt or one that is in running condition? Or is there an alternative solution for repowering this machine with something else?

does anyone have a reverser gear box for this machine? The one that is in this tractor has a freeze crack on the lower left side. I am going to attempt to weld the crack shut. But in case this doesn't work I am going to need another one. Maybe even a stripped down case would be fine , as I can put the guts from the case I have into it . Thanks again.

I guess one last question for now, what is the firing order for this engine? like a moron I didn't mark the wires when i took them off. I really appreciate everyone's help. thanks again.

I was a complete idiot for buying this to work it.  So if anyone i interested drop me a line on here. I'm located in western NY. I post pictures as soon as I can. Thanks for your help.
